Jill L. Barr joined Kring & Chung as a partner in 2011 to manage the Family Law Department in the firm’s Sacramento office.
Ms. Barr is a Certified Family Law Specialist, Board of Legal Specialization, State Bar of California and has practiced family law for twenty-five years. Ms. Barr handles all types of family law matters, including marital and domestic partnership dissolution, property division, child custody, support matters and modification or post-judgment proceedings. Ms. Barr is trained as a Collaborative Attorney and is also on the Special Master panel for the Sacramento County Superior Court.
Ms. Barr has donated her time and is active in various family law organizations on a local and state –wide level. In addition to leading and serving on the boards of several organizations associated with family law, she also volunteers as a settlement conference pro tem judge and accepts appointments to represent children for the Sacramento County Superior Court.
In her personal time, Ms. Barr enjoys traveling, playing the drums, and spending time with her family and friends.
